“Missions” is obeying the Lord’s command to take the Gospel to the world. We do this by helping to send Missionaries whose purpose is to be a witness for Jesus and to share His Gospel in order to help establish churches.

 

The book of Acts affirms that, “…ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth (Acts 1:8).

 

It is our goal to have at least one Missionary with a verbal witness for Christ on every continent by the end of 2016. As God blesses us, we will give financially so that others can learn about the great love of God.   

 

Soon after Trinity Baptist Church was established in October 2000, we began taking on missionaries.  Because we cannot be everywhere at once, we support Missions. We are here in Northern Virginia. However, there are people all over the world that need to hear of the love and saving grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  

 

Missionaries allow us to be in places we are not.  By supporting them through our financial giving and in praying, they help us carry out God’s command.  Make no mistake, God’s Missions’ Program is very essential to the well being of our Church.
